Executive VP and General Manager – Professional Services

As Executive VP and General Manager – Professional Services, Claus Thorsgaard is responsible for managing Deltek's Professional Services business worldwide. He oversees sales and marketing for Deltek's Vision, Maconomy, and People Planner solutions and is also responsible for managing Deltek's services offerings in support of application sales.

Claus Thorsgaard is a proven sales and marketing executive with 17 years of experience holding leadership positions in professional services and enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Deltek, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Maconomy A/S, a market-leading enterprise software company based in Denmark. During his tenure at Maconomy, Thorsgaard was responsible for managing the P&L across Maconomy's global offices and had responsibility for corporate marketing, global sales, global consulting, and customer support. Before Maconomy, he ran sales and marketing for Siemens Business Services and was the CEO of two fast-growing management consulting firms. Thorsgaard started his career at Ernst & Young, becoming a partner in charge of the company's Enterprise Solutions business unit.

Thorsgaard holds a Master's degree in Managerial Accounting and Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration.
